As PaddleNSW is a state organisation affiliated to Australian Canoeing, all insurance policies are organised by them for Member Clubs, all members, coaches and instructors.

Category 1 – Members
PaddleNSW provides personal accident gap insurance for participating paddlers. We provide cover for any injuries sustained in non-negligent paddling activities which are not covered by Medicare or personal health insurance. The insurance is provided via Australian Canoeing and is administered by PaddleNSW.
As part of Events, Single Event participation is covered by insurance.
If you are involved in or have assisted someone who has suffered an accident or injury, please click here to complete and submit a claim form as soon as possible.
Category 2 – Member Clubs
PaddleNSW provides Public Liability and Association Liability insurance. It is important to recognise that this insurance is available only where all participants in club organised events are members of PaddleNSW.
BOAT INSURANCE SCHEME
This insurance scheme is specifically designed for PaddleNSW Members to insure their personal watercraft (kayaks and canoes) and is exclusive to financial members of PaddleNSW.
The Scheme provides a comprehensive and competitive cover for your valued craft.
Cover is available up to a sum insured of $6,000. If you require cover in excess of $6,000, please contact Oamps on (07) 3367 5000 to discuss further.
The boat insurance scheme is only open to current financial Members of PaddleNSW Inc. You must remain a current financial Member of PaddleNSW Inc for the boat insurance policy to remain valid and in force. You will forfeit all rights and entitlements under the boat insurance policy in the event that you cease to be a current financial Member of PaddleNSW Inc.

Members with Existing Boat Cover
For those members who took out boat insurance prior to 31 October 2011, the insurer, Associated Marine will honour all current insurance contracts until expiry of cover. You will need to apply for insurance when your policy is due for renewal.
